What will we do?

Here at Midland Therapy Group our goal is to create a supportive environment where trainees can feel safe to learn and grow as independent counsellors, whilst working within an experienced and diverse team.

We offer-  

• Internal supervision 

• Peer support and  

• Networking opportunities as well as  

• CPD and support  

• Potential to paid work once qualified 

• All of our clients are assessed by a qualified counsellor before allocating them to a trainee  

What we expect from you? 

We want people to be part of the team and have a full experience of how a counselling organisation works; this means that we like our placements to be involved in more than just seeing their clients. 

We require all counsellors (trainees included) to be responsible for their own administrative duties in relation to their clients.  

 This could be supporting at promotional events, working with colleagues to support the running of the service, attending meetings or other involvement depending on what we are developing in the future.
